Where do we meet?
We’ll come get you wherever’s easiest—YIA Airport, Borobudur-Magelang, downtown Yogyakarta, your hotel, or the train station. Just tell us where to find you, and we’ll be there.

What should you wear?
Go for comfortable sportswear, good hiking boots, and a hat. Don’t forget a jacket, and definitely bring sunscreen—trust me, you’ll need it.

Day 01 :

Yogyakarta to Mount Sumbing—Hiking, Sunset, Camping

We’ll pick you up between 6 and 9:30 a.m.—hotel, airport, train station, doesn’t matter. The drive to the basecamp takes about two and a half hours, so just sit back and watch the city fade as we head toward the mountains.

Once we arrive, you get about an hour to settle in and eat lunch—a tasty local meal to fuel you up for the hike.

The trek to camp takes four to five hours. We’ll walk at a comfortable pace, take breaks for photos, and soak up the scenery. When we reach camp, you’ll have time to watch the sunset, eat dinner, and relax under the stars.

Day 02 :

Mount Sumbing to Yogyakarta—Summit, Sunrise, and Return

Rise early—it’s summit time. Start your day with a snack or some hot coffee, then we’ll head out before sunrise. The last bit to the summit is about an hour, and the sunrise up there is seriously something special.

Afterward, we’ll hike back down to camp for breakfast and a quick rest. When you’re ready, we pack up and make our way down to basecamp, which takes three to four hours.

Back at basecamp, your driver will be waiting. Then it’s another two and a half hours to Yogyakarta—straight to your hotel, the airport, or wherever you need to be.
